What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT use outside tools. Samba runs an MCP server, so your assistant works in Samba directly instead of you pasting exports into the chat.

Does it cost extra?

No. It is included in every Samba workspace.

Which AI tools work with Samba?
